The University of Birmingham Persian Society (founded in October 2006) is a student society with non-political or religious objectives. The Persian Society aims to raise cultural awareness in the university by organizing cultural and academic events. Anyone with an interest in Persian culture is welcome to participate. We aim to create a friendly environment where students from all ethnic, culture and religious backgrounds can gather and present them with Persian culture, and at the same time learn about their culture. We are aiming to create this friendly environment by organizing joyful events where students can relax and have fun. All the money being raised in our events; is being used for the preparation of the specific event and further events.
